Summer School on Digital Technologies
Overview
Strathmore University, in collaboration with DIGITAfrica partners and leading European universities, is pleased to host a Summer School on Digital Technologies aimed at strengthening advanced skills in Networking, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence. The programme brings together students, researchers, and practitioners for an intensive week of hands-on learning, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration.
This summer school is modelled on the structure and academic rigor of leading European summer schools and contextualised for the African digital and innovation ecosystem.
- Participation Fee: KES 5,000 per participant
The fee covers certain refreshments and certificates.

Venue: Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya

Target Group
The summer school is open to participants from Kenya and other African countries, including:
- Undergraduate students (Year 2-4) in Computer science, Networking, IT, Telecommunications and related courses
- Master’s students
- Recent graduates and early-career practitioners
- Professionals seeking re-skilling in emerging digital technologies
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the programme will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.
● Certificates will bear the logos of DIGITAfrica partners and the European Commission.
